
My Passion for cooking . . .
To put into words a description of myself out of a
lifetime of experiences is no small task, given my penchant for last minute
changes of direction, off the cuff experimentation, and worldwide scope of
experience. I am often asked what
I prefer to cook, what is my favorite dish, or what are my favorite places - and
to that I almost always answer I don't really know because I don't have
favorites. My passions are almost
always defined by my surroundings, the ingredients, and the people I am with. In my opinion fine cuisine has to be
ingredient driven. If you don't
have superior raw materials to work with you are inevitably doomed to fail and
I don't like to fail, ever.
